Our noses have left and right nostrils. Are these nostrils having the same function for inhaling (breathe in) and exhaling (breathe out)?Actually it's not the same and we can feel the difference. Accordingly, the right side represents the sun and the left side represents the moon.When having headache, try to close your right nostril and use your left nostril to do breathing for about 5 min. The headache will be gone.If you feel too tired, do it the opposite way. Close your left nostril and breathe through your right nostril. After a while, you will feel refresh again.Because the right side belongs to heat, so it gets hot easily. The left side gets cold easily.Women breathe mainly with their left nostril, so they get calm down easily.Men breathe mostly with their right nostril, so they get angry easily.When we wake up, do we notice which nostril breathes faster? Is it the left side or the right side?If the left nostril breathes faster, you will feel very tired. Close your left nostril and use your right nostril for breathing and you will get refresh quickly.You can teach your kids about it. Update on Little Miley

Time really flies. I remember when I was expecting little Miley, I was having terrible nausea. The nausea feeling really make me sick and sleep all the time. Most of the time I need to take medical leave from my employer. Anyway that's like a year and half ago. Now my little Miley is about 10 months old by this 25th Jan. She is crawling and learning to stand. So this is the time I really need to watch her closely. Whenever she sees food, she would say mum-mum or nen-nen... that's the first two words from her..

New Year (2009) Celebration - Satay's Day

gathering at my Sister-In-Law's house. Usually on this day

we will have satay and yellow glutinous rice.

Recently, we decided to spend our Christmas weekend

at New Plymouth. New plymouth is the main city

in the Taranaki region. New Plymouth has been voted

the best town in New Zealand to live, love, work and

raise a family. It takes about 5 hours drive from

Auckland. Photo below show we having breakfast

at Huntly.

What time is it?! Summertime is our vacation.....(not really a vacation harhar)

People will LOVE to go the BEACH :D

As for me, as soon as Summer season start.....

I get sneezing, runny nose, itching and stuffy nose, and

tearing eyes. I remember last year at this time, I

have the same symptoms but more severe. My nose was 99%

blocked. This is all due to my pregnancy, sinuses and allergy of pollen.

And this is what you called hay fever. No jokes, I hate it so much.

I need to spray my nose with Flixonase and consumed

anti-histamine on daily basis.

I have been quite exhausted lately and not in the mood of updating my blog. Don't know why my mind is not working. Loose concentration most of the times. Lately, mostly everyday I woke up in the middle of the night, either baby feeding or applying cream for Megan. Megan has got this rashes bites from fleas few days ago, and it has been so itch for her. No jokes it is really itch and this is the second time she got it. That's why she wakes me up middle of the night, and tell me her rashes is itchy, and she cant sleep. And of course as a mum, I try to do everything for her to stop the itch. Guess that's mother nature not to let their own kid suffer. I rather have that itchy rashes than her.

Simple Roast Chicken

This is the first time ever I roasted a chicken. Thanks to

Sweet Jasmine for the recipe. All I need is to marinade

the whole chicken with black soya sauce, pepper, salt,

dry sherry, and some honey (optional). Then I set aside the chicken

for few hours. Preheat the oven about 200 degree and bake

about 40 mins.

Magic of White Noise

Want to know what is white noise? You can get white noise from hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, clothes dryer, tv, or radio. It helps to calm down unsettled babies, crying or colic. Believe it or not, it's true. I used on little Miley when she was few months old. When I on the white noise from radio or vacuum cleaner, she will stopped crying immediately. Baby was surrounded by white noise before she was born. Sound of blood flowing through placenta and heartbeat were the sounds that baby used to before birth. That's why they like white noise. For those readers who has unsettle baby, try white noise on them. It really helps.

Cruel Act - Child Abuse

Today, I read an article in today's newspaper about child abused case. Don't know why and don't understand why these people have a such cruel act towards the children or babies. Let me mentioned a couple cases. 10 months old baby girl was hanged at the back of the wardrobe and leaving her in a freezer by her babysitter. Besides that she has been kicked, hit on the head, thrown and shaken with such vigour her head rolled back and forth. She dies on non-accidental brain injuries. Another case was witness by another child that a 3 year old child was slam dunked on the ground, choked and put in a hot dryer until her head bleed. She has been put on clothes line and spun until she fell off to the ground. Cruel act???? Done by who???? It seems by close family members.. Cant believe it. The child mother was charged with manslaughtered. Its sad to read all these child abuse cases. These people (pervert) should get a heavy punishment for the cruelty act.

Chicken Green Curry...my version

Nowadays dining in at the restaurant is very expensive,

to save money, I decided to cook myself. Well, my

version of Green curry is very simple. I am just

using green curry paste which can get it from Asian store.

My 36th Birthday

together birthday celebration within our

close family. This year I had Korean BBQ for

my birthday dinner at Auckand City. Usually after

the dinner, we will go home for cutting cake.
